Building works commenced in July 2013 and the Annexe was completed in 2014. The main house and pool were completed in 2016.

The tiled pool is 8m x 4m and holds 44,000 litres of water. The filtration system is a Waterco S600 Sand Filter with a Waterco Supastream 1.5hp pump and is chlorinated through tablets. All hoses, nets, and cleaning equipment is included.
Taveuni benefits from 2 key internet suppliers being Vodafone and Digicel. Sautu has direct line of site to the Vodafone tower on the neighbouring island of Vanua Levu.
